Since the Marrow Bones is the first illustrated story I ever done as an "adult". I have had to learn a couple of things the hard way. I am finding that it can sometimes be difficult to fit in the vast amounts of text I have written, especially as a lot of the "talking" is clustered together in between the action scenes. I've had to learn to deviate from the script here and there for the sake of not over-crowding some panels with words.
Also I've found that lots of filler panels are necessary to ensure story flow/ continuity. I've been putting in drawing overtime lately in order to try and piece together this story. It's turned out to be more of an effort that I originally counted on. Kind of makes me wonder if I should story board the next tale before I set ink to paper?
